D'Amore e di Lotta: Live Illustration

On February 14th and 15th Michelle Muratori and I were invited as graphic illustrators to the conference organised by the Centro Studi Interdisciplinari di Genere CSG at the Università di Trento: “D’Amore e di Lotta. Disegnare politiche, alleanze e relazioni di genere”.

Through our illustrations and visual notes we recorded key concepts from the sessions which were later projected during the farewell toast as a sum up of the whole conference.

Graphic recording is a powerful tool and a fun way for simplifying complex ideas through translating concepts into images and engaging the public even further.

Taking part in this experience and having the opportunity to listen to researchers and renowned academics - such as Ruba Salih, Peto Andrea and Rachele Borghi - talk about themes related to gender, equality and activism was truly inspiring.
